Placement Report

Placements are an integral part of the curriculum and often a great deciding factor for students aspiring to join premier B- schools across the country. Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management lived up to its glorious past and witnessed another wonderful year as far as placements and internships were concerned.

With the economic environment witnessing uncertainties and torrid fluctuations, LBSIM did well not only to preserve its existing partnerships with the industry but also to forge new ones. Apart from the regular recruiters we had 22 new recruiters participating in the placement season.

The aim at LBSIM is not to provide just jobs but build careers.

A host of companies visited the LBSIM campus this year from a variety of sectors such as FMCG, Consulting, IT and ITeS, Engineering, BFSI, Market Research, Education, Electronics etc. Students were offered key positions like Business Manager, Marketing Manager, Relationship Manager, Analyst, Research Associate, Credit and Equity Analyst, Research Associate, Operations Manager, Associate Consultant, Pre-sales Executive and Finance Manager amongst others. Some of the recruiters who offered PPOs are: DE Shaw & Co., Asian Paints, Marsh India, Bajaj Finserv, Firstsource Solutions Ltd. SBI Life etc.
