The students of PGDM 2018-20 BATCH 1st Year visited Sanchi Dugdh Sangh Maryadit, Indore alongwith FAculty and Staff of the Institute to corelate their theory/classroom sessions with practical/industry environment on Friday 12 April2019.
Industrial Visit of LBSITM students to “ITC E Choupal Sagar Dewas”
To introspect the social initiative of ITC Ltd the Management students of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Technology and Management (LBSITM), Indore visited ITC Choupal Sagar located at Dewas on 27 Feb 2016. The Regional Manager ITC Agri Business had an interactive session with the students, where he discussed ITCs social initiative with them. He told students about purchasing and processing of crops from farmers and explained the overall concept of Choupal Sagar. Students learnt about processing of various types of crops based on quality. The experts of the Choupal Sagar explained the students about procurement, processing, stock keeping, warehousing, packaging, dispatch of wheat and Soyabean.
Industrial visit to SAANCHI [ Indore Sahakari Dugdh Sangh Mydt., Indore(M.P.)]
To develop industry-institute-interface, the Management students of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Technology and Management (LBSITM), Indore visited Indore Sahakari Dugdha Sangh (SANCHI) plant on 16 Feb 2016. Mr. Ashutosh Dighe motivated the students as well as had an interactive session with the students where he discussed management practices with them. Mr. Dighe told students about Pasteurization, Processing of Dry Milk, Ghee etc. Students learnt about processing of various types of Milk based on fat and other products of Milk. The experts of the plant explained the students about Stock Keeping, production, warehousing, packaging and dispatch technology etc.
